INDUSTRY CHALLENGES

Static electricity can damage the product, form a safety hazard and cause the attraction of particles which could later be released into the product of process. ESD impacts productivity and product reliability in virtually every aspect of electronic environment.

We can provide garments with static dissipative properties as well as a range of low-lint, low-ion cleanroom disposables in a wide range of precision electronics, printed circuitry, and semi-conductor manufacturing applications.

Synthetic fibres are very prone to generating large static charges (i.e. over 30,000 volts). This attracts particles to the surface of the garment which could later be released into the product or process. To reduce this static build up, clean room fabrics generally have a 1% conductive fibre thread. This makes the fabric inherently static dissipative and therefore reduces the static attraction of particles to the fabrics’ surface. Sophisticated electronics should also be protected from static as even 250 volts can destroy or impair circuits.

OUR SOLUTIONS FOR ELECTRONICS

  • Garment Range

We provide a range of garments with static dissipative properties, ranging from coveralls to statcoats. Fabric types include a densely woven non-linting barrier protection for use in a clean room, or a breathable fabric with the same ESD properties for less critical environments.

  • Total ESD Control

Garments used in the electronics manufacturing are an important part in electrostatic control. To reduce static build-up, fabrics used in CRG garments have a 1% conductive fibre thread, making the fabric inherently dissipative.

  • Consumables

Our range of low-lint, low-ion cleanroom disposables are designed for use in a wide range of precision electronics, printed circuitry, and semiconductor manufacturing applications. We specialize in providing you with the trusted and consistent products you need to achieve increased yield performance and reliability.
